The last thing David wanted to do was go to Cocaeta, an artisan Creperie again.
(The first time we attempted to go to Cocaeta we were going to meet Aaron for dinner. The kids and I I got off at the train station and started walking towards the direction of the restaurant. Google maps kept changing directions and what we were to do. David decided that all we needed was a left right left and we would get there. He started leading the way walking quicker than the rest of us. I stopped to pickup Chris and the girls stopped too. As we started walking again, we realized David had turned a different way than the phone and we couldn't see him anywhere. I started freaking out about how are we going to find him. Chris and Bridget started screaming his name. Bridget said a quick prayer and soon thereafter a nice man, who could speak English, stopped to help us. He told us to stay put, this particular spot in Venice was the most maze like and easily to get lost. He had lived there his entire life and would go look for David. He set off and we patiently waited and kept praying. They returned a few minutes later! When we all finally went together to meet Aaron, the crepe place was closed. It was an emotional night)
So we got back when it was open a few times.
I chose a savory one: smoked salmon, a cheese and balsamic crema
Allison had a nutella, dark chocolate, and bananas
Bridget had a kinder maxi, white chocolate and smarties
David had a white chocolate and strawberry
Then we headed to see a building off a narrow little street to see the Palazzo Contarini del Bovolo (I wanted to see it)
This little gem was beautiful. The staircase was amazing!
It was a foggy afternoon by the time we were heading home, which made the Christmas tree in San Marco Square look cool
and caused us to start to create our own mystery story about boats disappearing and not returning.
