We headed out with the plan to ride a gondola. We have all wanted to ride one since we have been here, but have waited for Dad to come with us. We left the house to tons of fog. So we weren't going to go. We found a Christmas market instead and a instrument museum. We saw some really old instruments, I liked the violin.
Mom and I convinced dad that we should still go on a gondola, even though it was cold but the fog was gone.
It was a little scary when we got in. The gondola was wobbly and I screamed because I thought we would tip over.
This was our gondolier, he is the one that steers and paddles.
We went under a lot of bridges and followed five other gondolas.
We crossed the grand canal and saw the Rialto bridge
Dad liked it too
and look a police boat
I loved it and want to do it again!
Stopped at a new place that just opened...Amsterdam fritz. We tried a hot dog with a potato swirled around it.
