Lace Museum

We made another trip back to the colorful island of Burano to learn about lace making and why this little island is famous for it.

We went to an old school that taught the skill of lace making, which is now a museum.
This is a step by step process of how to make a small piece of lace

This lace was from the 1500's
These two ladies were sitting and making lace. It looked hard!

Chris and I sat down to try it. It was cool.
I liked this piece a lot.

Mom liked this one.
