Ca' Rezzonico

Ca' Rezzonico is a museum of 18th Century Venice.

It is a home on the Grand Canal, and grand it is! The floor you enter on is where items would have been stored for the business the families that originally lived there were in.  It opens on to the canal so things could easily be delivered.

Stair way up to the main floor.
The grand floor for receiving guests and entertaining.

This little room is a chapel
 Amazing Murano glass chandeliers
 Painted doors
look at the horses on the legs of this throne

this was the grand doorway to go up to the next floor
Bridget loved the end of the rail
Chris pretending to try a harpsichord

 Old pharmacy
It was an amazing bit of history to see.
The sunset home was beautiful too.
