We tried some Frites (fries) while we were in Verona. Mom had tried them in Holland and said we would love them. She was right! We liked them so much we had them both days we were there, from two different shops. They come in a big cone with your choice of sauce on top. We choose ketchup and cheese sauce. They were hot and yummy.
You use sticks to eat them. You poke them and eat them. YUM.
We also tried some yummy cookies. I choose one that was a chocolate smiley face. It was really good.
Allison choose a double brownie with jelly in the middle and had a treble cleff on the top.
Chris choose a chocolate pie with a heart on top.
We went to Romeo and Juliet. I got a picture with Juliet.
We saw her balcony.
We went and got pasta and polenta.
Mom tried polenta with roasted vegetables.
My favorite was the polenta with nutella on it. It was DELICIOUS!
Allison liked it so much we have made it at home.

Oh Bridgey, I am so jealous! I love frites! Glad you liked them too! Next time you need to try them with peanut sauce, yummy! Looks like you are enjoying the food and having grand adventures! When you were ar Juliet's house did you say, "Romeo, Romeo, where art thou Romeo?" Did you ever find him while you were there! You and Allison will have to make me Nutella polenta next time we are together. It sounds yummy! Keep having grand adventures! Love you heaps!
